Rolldowns

Rolldowns are a fast, easy option for secure hurricane protection. We now offer the Eastern Metal Systems Bertha 40mm and 60mm Rolldown Shutters. They are High Velocity Hurricane Zone (HVHZ) approved and the engineering can be found here.

Rolldowns require a storm bar to be placed on the outside of the window or door opening. These can be destracting and add to the time required to deploy your rolldowns. That is why Eastern Metals came up with the End Retention Roll Shutter. This shutter incorporates the ease of a rolldown without requiring a storm bar. Currently the End Retention Roll Shutter is not HVHZ approved, but it is scheduled for further testing.
